Whitecroft Cattery - Littleover, Derby
Welcome to Whitecroft Cattery in Littleover, Derby, which was established in 1961. The present owners, Sally and Graham Dean, have a wealth of knowledge and experience in cat welfare and cattery management, and you can rest assured that your cat will receive the very best care and attention in superb surroundings.
Many of our customers are long-standing, and return to board their cats with us time after time.
We are able to cater for all diets, and we are happy to manage special requirements, such as administering supplied prescription diets and medication, at no extra charge.
The best way to choose a cattery to ensure that it is the perfect place for your pet to stay is to pay a call, and you are very welcome to come and see us, talk to us and look at our facilities. Just call in during opening hours, or contact us to arrange a visit at other times.
Prices Per Day
There is no minimum stay, and a deposit is not required. If you collect your cat before 12noon on departure day, there is no charge for that day.
We accept payment by cash or cheque, but we don't have facilities to take cards.Prices from 10th January 2020
Our units are open to the fresh air and natural daylight with views over the beautiful gardens. Each pen has its own run and includes a raised, cosy house with a fleece blanket, a high shelf, litter box and scratch post, as well as being individually heated.
During the winter, the units are covered with PVC screens to keep the weather out and the cosiness in!
We have a full range of pen sizes to accommodate any number of cats, from a single cat to a large family.
You will have peace of mind knowing that your cat is safe, warm and well cared for during its stay with us.
Some Things To Know
We are licensed by Derby City Council under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018, and fully insured.
A condition of our licence is that all cats must be vaccinated, and an up to date vaccination certificate must be brought with you for each stay. Also, please would you ensure that flea and worm treatments are up to date. Further details can be found on our Useful Information page.
Please bring your cat in a safe carrier, which can be left in the pen as another hidey-hole for them, or we can store it for you during your cat's stay with us.
We will provide everything that your cat will need during its stay with us, but you are welcome to bring your own things such as a bed, blanket or favourite toy.
